Professional counseling helps in dealing with specific problems and questions in life. Psychotherapy helps to overcome or mitigate permanent problems and mental disorders. Below, you find information on my clinical specialisation and method.

My training and experience allow me to especially help with these problems :

  • accentuation of personality traits and personality disorders
  • addictive or compulsive thoughts and/or behaviour, also in the field of sexuality

  • withdrawal, exhaustion, indifferentism, irritability, sleep disturbances, loss of appetite; depression
  • procrastination (avoidance of doing tasks)

Method

  • I primarily work with models and techniques of Cognitive behavioral therapy.
  • According to the issue, goals and preferences, other approaches, e.g. emotion-focussed techniques, might also be used.
  • client-centered: a positive, trustful and encouraging therapeutic relationship is central for my work.
  • as a psychotherapist, I adhere to the obligation of professional discretion and the quality and ethical guidelines of the Föderation der Schweizer Psychologinnen und Psychologen (FSP; professional organisation of psychologists in Switzerland).

  • training as psychotherapist at the Klaus-Grawe-Institut in Zürich (Klaus-Grawe-Institut.ch); Master of Advanced Studies in Cognitive-Behavioral and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (Universität Basel)
  • I like to do sport and love to be out in the nature. My passion is scuba diving in the Swiss and German lakes.
